Spring cleaning for voice and creativity with Impro & Circlesinging
Warmup:
Playful, moving warm-up with breath, body and voice. Experiment with sound and expression.
Vocal improvisation games:
Various exercises in preparation for participating (or optionally leading) in circle songs and acting as a vocal band.
Circlesinging and acting as a vocal band:
Circlesinging is a choral form of vocal improvisation according to Bobby McFerrin, led by one person.
As a vocal band, the participants sing without instruction. Everyone can take on different roles and musical functions.
